Back from the Central Coast...

of California. Great trip. A weekend getaway for myself and Mrs. Lopez. Had dinner on Friday night, in front of the fireplace at The Brambles Dinner House, in Cambria. Excellent meal. I had the top sirloin, medium, complete with clam chowder, rice pilaf, and topped off with a Guinness Extra Stout. The Guinness was too bitter for my taste though... a hefe weizen would've been better. But nothing can beat that tender, oakwood broiled steak. Believe me, each morsel was delicately savored. After dinner, a romantic boardwalk stroll along the bluffs overlooking the Pacific, and then a cup of coffee in the warm coziness of our room with the rhythm of the surf, crashing along the shore, in the background.
